2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide our website, to process inquiries, to handle orders, and to use the shop functions.

Legal bases for data processing are in particular:

• Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract performance, e.g., order, shipping, payment)
• Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent, e.g., for cookies, analysis tools, payment services)
• Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website)

3. Access Data / Server Log Files

Each time our website is accessed, information is automatically collected by the hosting provider and stored in so-called server log files. This includes in particular:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Accessed pages or files
• Amount of data transferred
• Browser used and operating system

This data is processed to ensure trouble-free technical operation, for system security, and to optimize our offer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The data is usually deleted after 7 days at the latest.

4. Hosting

Our website is operated by an external service provider (hosting provider). This provider makes the technical infrastructure and storage capacities available and processes access data on our behalf. A contract for order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the hosting provider.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and that enable your browser to be recognized again.

We use the following types of cookies:

• Technically necessary cookies, which are required for the operation of the website and the use of certain functions (e.g., shopping cart, language settings).
• Optional cookies (e.g., for statistics/analysis), which we only use with your consent.

Technically necessary cookies are used on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are only used with your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases, or activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of the website.

6. Contact

When you contact us by email or via a contact form, your details (e.g., name, email address, message) are processed to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures or contract performance).

We delete the data arising in this context as soon as storage is no longer necessary and there are no statutory retention obligations.

7. Orders, Customer Account, and Contract Processing

In the context of orders via our webshop, we process the following data in particular:

• Name, billing and, if applicable, delivery address
• Email address and, if applicable, telephone number
• Order details (ordered goods, prices, payment method)

Data processing is carried out to implement pre-contractual measures and to fulfill the purchase contract (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).

If you create a customer account, we save the data required for this as well as your stored orders to facilitate future orders for you. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can have your customer account deleted at any time.

After completion of the contract processing, your data will initially be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial retention periods, unless you have consented to further storage.

8. Shipping Processing

To deliver the ordered goods, we pass on the necessary data (name, delivery address, possibly email address) to the commissioned shipping service provider (e.g., DHL). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

Your email address will only be passed on to the shipping service provider for the purpose of delivery notification or coordination if you have expressly consented to this (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.

9. Payment Processing

We offer various payment options, e.g., cash on pickup, bank transfer, and PayPal.

• Bank Transfer: When paying by bank transfer, your data is transmitted to our bank to execute the payment.
• PayPal: When using PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal website. There, the data required for payment processing is collected and processed directly by PayPal. The PayPal privacy policy applies.

Data processing in the context of payment processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

10. Web Analysis (e.g., Google Analytics)

If you have consented to this, we use web analysis services such as Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) for statistical evaluation of the use of our website.

Cookies are used to collect information about the use of our website (e.g., pages visited, duration of visit, browser used) and usually transmitted to Google servers, where they are evaluated in anonymized form. The IP address is usually stored in shortened form.

The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g., via the cookie settings on our website.

11. Social Media

We may maintain our own profiles on external platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to provide information about our offers there. When visiting these profiles, the data protection regulations of the respective platform operator apply.

Data processing by the platform operator can take place in particular for market research and advertising purposes. User profiles are created that can be used to place interest-based advertising. Further information can be found in the privacy notices of the respective provider.

12. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

• Right to information about the personal data processed by us (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Right to correction of incorrect or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Right to deletion of stored data (Art. 17 GDPR), unless legal obligations prevent this
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

Right of Objection according to Art. 21 GDPR

insofar as we process data based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.

If processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes, you can object to this at any time without giving reasons. We will then no longer process your personal data for these purposes.
